Position Description

Direct Hire opportunity looking to hire quickly!

Salary: $115-$120/k depending on experience

We are seeking an NP or PA with prior long term care experience in addition to prior internal medicine/gastroenterology experience.

Great schedule! M-F, 8am to 5pm!

Bonus incentives offered! No travel/float responsibilities!

Responsibilities

Perform age-appropriate histories and physicals for complex acute, critical, and chronic patients
Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic and therapeutic tests
Prescribe pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatments
Implement interventions to support physiologic stability
Assist with surgical care as applicable and within regulations
Monitor patient outcomes and adjust care plans as needed
Support smooth transitions across care settings (admit, transfer, discharge)
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and make appropriate referrals
Educate patients, families, and staff to support informed decision-making

Educational & Experience Requirements

Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Internal Medicine & Geriatric care
Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program
Current APRN or PA licensure
Current specialty certification
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
CNOR/CRNFA certification (if applicable)
Eligibility for hospital privileges

Physical Requirements

Prolonged standing, bending, and reaching
Ability to support at least 75lbs for safe patient mobility
Fine motor skills and visual acuity
