Clinical Education Manager

Sepsis Alliance is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Education Manager to join our team of passionate professionals. Sepsis Alliance is experiencing a period of record growth and impact and is looking to expand its clinical education and training programs to improve sepsis awareness and readiness across the nation’s continuum of care and continuum of career.

SKILLS REQUIRED
Effective in reviewing, producing, and presenting clinical information on sepsis. Responsible for advising Sepsis Alliance, Sepsis Alliance Institute, and Sepsis Alliance Clinical Community teams on content, trends, and best practices in clinical performance and training for sepsis. Ability to plan, communicate effectively with all organization members, stakeholders, and partners, organize, prioritize, and coordinate his/her own work. Exhibit effective judgment and decision-making skills and take action according to qualities such as open-mindedness, thoroughness, maturity, and professionalism. Ability to work independently (remote) with minimal supervision and manage multiple tasks and deadlines are essential.

DUTIES
General:

  • Identify topics and speakers for sepsis clinical education content development across the continuum of care
  • Work with subject matter experts to create new content for clinical training
  • Working with speakers, develop description and learning objectives for content
  • Ensure clinical content is accurate and up to date
  • Review and update content on the Sepsis Alliance Institute
  • Participate in partner meetings and work with sponsors to meet deliverables, including sponsor presentation content
  • Participate in live webinars to track incoming questions from learners
  • Attend certain key conferences representing Sepsis Alliance
  • Suggest new content offerings, partners, and distribution outlets
  • Manage volunteer advisory committee of Clinical Community, including
    • Host regular zoom meetings (4-6 per year) to get feedback and insight on clinical needs
    • Ask for volunteer webinar presenters
    • Request and organize webinar topic needs (4 per year)
    • Maximize member interaction, current use and expansion of online site
    • Work with SA team members to increase membership
    • Collaborate with advocacy agenda of Sepsis Alliance to reflect a unified effort

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Nursing degree, advanced degree preferred
  • Knowledge of and clinical experience in sepsis care, management, and education
  • Experience in incorporating evidence-based practice concepts into accredited clinical education
  • Computer savvy
  • Database experience, Salesforce preferred
  • Learning management system experience, EthosCE a plus
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
  • Ability to work independently, manage own projects and timelines
  • Interest and ability to suggest new projects and process improvements
  • Genuine interest in making change happen and doing good in the world
  • Able to travel to a limited number of events
